Tulsa Symphony welcomes Guest Conductor Philip Mann back to the podium to conduct a diverse trio of the masters. Building in complexity, this program is full of melodic shape, three unique color palettes, and dramatic musical dialogue. From the concise subject matter of Barber’s Essay No. 1 to Mozart’s boisterous statements in his Horn Concerto No. 2, to Rachmaninoff’s signature romanticism in his Symphony No.2, these marvels are sure to conjure a variety of emotions.
